When you book a class, sign up for a membership, or send us an enquiry through this website, you're handing over some personal information. This policy explains exactly what we do with it, why we need it, and how you can ask us to remove it.
We follow the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and where visitors from Europe interact with this site we also work to the standards of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). - Health information: anything you choose to tell us about injuries, pregnancy or medical conditions that affect your practice.
- Payment data: billing name and transaction records. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor and never stored on our own servers.
- Website usage: pages you visit, approximate location by city, device type and referring site.
- Communication records: emails, enquiry form submissions and notes from phone conversations.
You are never required to give us health information. If you choose not to, we'll simply teach you the class with the standard modifications on offer.
How We Use Your Information
Your data is used to confirm bookings, manage memberships, process payments, respond to enquiries and keep our teaching records accurate. We also use anonymised usage statistics to understand which classes and articles people find useful so we can improve the timetable.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not share it with marketing lists you never signed up for. Access to your data is limited to the small team that needs it to do their job: front desk staff, the studio manager and your teacher where a health note is relevant.
