Legal & Compliance

Terms & Conditions

Accessoptionpath publishes this page so you always know exactly where you stand with us, whether you are booking a class, browsing the studio website or simply comparing Australian yoga options before deciding which one fits. The wording below is written in plain English rather than legal shorthand, and it explains what we do, why we do it and what you can ask us to change at any time.

Acceptance of These Terms

By booking a class, purchasing a pass or attending any session at Accessoptionpath you agree to the terms set out on this page. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't complete a booking. These terms apply to every student, guest and visitor regardless of how you found us.

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in how we operate. The current version always lives on this page, and material changes will be flagged on our homepage for at least two weeks.

Bookings, Payments and Passes

All bookings are confirmed only once payment has been received or a valid pass has been applied to your account. Prices displayed on the website include GST unless clearly stated otherwise. Payment is handled by our third-party processor and we never see your full card details.

  • Casual classes: must be paid in advance through our booking system or at the front desk.
  • Monthly passes: renew automatically until you cancel with at least fourteen days' notice.
  • Annual passes: are paid upfront and are non-transferable between people.
  • Promotional offers: are subject to the specific conditions advertised at the time and cannot be combined.

Health, Safety and Your Responsibilities

Yoga involves physical movement and carries an inherent risk of injury. You're responsible for telling your teacher about any injury, pregnancy, medical condition or medication that might affect your practice. If you're unsure whether a class is appropriate for you, speak to a doctor first.

We ask that you arrive on time, keep to the studio's etiquette guidelines, and respect other students' space. Deliberate disruption, unsafe behaviour or intoxication will result in being asked to leave without a refund. Our teachers may modify or stop a posture for a student if they believe continuing would present a risk.

Cancellations, Late Arrivals and No-Shows

Please cancel at least four hours before a class if you can't attend. Late cancellations and no-shows on pass-based bookings may be charged as a class credit so that waitlisted students aren't disadvantaged.

Late arrivals may be admitted at the teacher's discretion but are not guaranteed entry once the class has started, particularly during opening breathing or warm-up. We'd rather you arrived five minutes early than missed the first sun salutation.

Liability, Intellectual Property and Governing Law

You attend classes at your own risk to the extent permitted by Australian law. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have that cannot legally be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. Our sequences, written material, photographs and branding are owned by Accessoptionpath and may not be reproduced without written permission.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute arising from your use of the studio or this website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

Other Legal Documents

Four companion pages sit alongside this one and cover the rest of the fine print. You can read any of them at any time, and printed copies are available at the studio front desk.
